Description: The OPD hide in the bushes on the North East corner of 153rd Street and Pacific Street with a radar detector and radar you from afar as you go west bound from 144th and Pacific Street. Plus it's down hill so you pick up a lot of speed without even knowing it. Three officers walk into the street and signal you to pull on to the side street. No warnings.

  Is it just me? Or wouldn't it be a no-brainer to figure out that if you are going downhill, you are going to increase your speed. So shouldn't you have been watching in the first place? Isn't the hill your "warning"?

  Today the city council is expected to raise the speed limit from 40-45 which should remove this speed trap. When I asked the traffic engineers why the only people who know the speed limit was to low was the police department they said it is the city councils responsibility to raise limits.

  I have seen this so much I can't even keep count. OPD is hidden and it's very easy to pick up speed without knowing it as the entire stretch is all downhill.

  Have seen this radar trap with several vehicles pulled over. Easy to get going from 144th heading west as it is all downhill.
