- Description: Several cops sit in the turning space in the grass median. When goin west bound it is hard to see them cause you are going up hill and there are trees to the left. Right after this spot there is about 1 mile of straight road often used for street racing.

I got 2 tickets in the general vicinity in 2 months. I fought both and got a reduced fine in 1 and nil on the other. Stone Ridge and South Riding areas are swarmed by cops now with the new police station in South Riding (cor. of Loudoun County Pkwy & Tall Cedars.

The first comment is right on. Everyone speeds up to be first to the narrowing of road going west on US 50 so they can wait in a line at the Gilbert's Corner traffic light. Makes a lot of sense, speed up to wait in line?
