•Subpeona training records and schedules for the officer. Deposition ALL former and current deputys and ask about integrity of the cop who ticketed you. Ask if the deputy is working unlawfully by comparing work schedule with full or part time status, if part time see below: -By statute, a full-time police officer means “a law enforcement officer with duties of a predictable and continuing nature which require more than 32 hours per week and more than 25 weeks per year” (20 VSA§ 2358). If deputy is a part time certified officer and violated the above statute, than he and his agency commited a 4th amendment seizure (call ACLU), and a violation of 13 V.S.A. 2405(a)(1)(E). Unlawful Retraint, a felony. The term "restrain" means "to restrict substantially the movement of another person without the person's consent" Contact the Attorney General.

Exactly as mentioned....got ticketed at 9pm. Road under construction(was paying attention to the bad road as opposed to signs) and speed limit drops from 50 to 35 to 25 inside 1/2 mile space...got me for going 39 in 25. He said he was sitting at 2nd sign signifying 25 mph limit. So we went back next day...2nd sign if you include the sign that said "reduced speed ahead" between the 50 mph and 35 mph zones. Thats like telling a part truth....not exactly the "whole" truth.•

I might suggest that you simply slow down through Bridgewater. This town is number two in the state for the amount of money collected in traffic fines. The city of South Burlington is number one, by the way.•

Agree - I was ticketed on 1/26/08 for speeding by a Windsor County Sheriff's Deputy on State Route 4 in Bridgewater east of Corners Inn. The speed limit signs change up and down quickly and confusingly - just perfect for a speed trap. I am a New Yorker - a nice target with a white license plate easily distinguished from the green Vermont plate - in Vermont to spend some money. The $151 fine is the last money I'll spend in Vermont until they clean up these speed traps.•

Agree. I was the middle car of 3 traveling over the limit and I was pulled over. I am from Ohio the front and rear cars were from Vermont. Go figure..............•
