Yes, the "Behlle Meahde" cops have been pulling people over for no reason for 50 years. They pulled me over so many times when I was a long-haired kid they knew me by name! Avoid this area especially at night and if you don't drive a Lexus/Mercedes, etc..going the 30mph limit or under won't stop them from stopping you!

Davidson County juts in to many other countys such as Robertson/Rutherford/Cheatham and all are awaiting you!This is their income and intention...LIVE THERE...BEEN THERE....DONE THAT!

This happens when you get suburban police departments within a metropolitian area. These are the lazy law enforcement types who wouldn't make it as a real cop working for Davidson County! All the 'BM Boys' (Belle Meade Boys), do is write tickets and. A true story happened sevral years back, a resident of Daividson County saw a Belle Meade cop exceding the speed limit on a Nashville Street. he pulled over the cop and made a citizens arrest! It was histerical! The guy almost got in serious trouble, but in the end charges were dropped. A Belle Meade cop had pulled over and harrassed his son in Belle Meade and that is why thsi guy retaliated.

Yes! I work in tis area, but do not live here so I can tell you this is Very true. If you have an out of state plate or drive a car that looks like you can not afford one of the multi-million dollar homes in the area and it is dark outside be prepared to be pulled over
