Speed Trap at Bright Road, Dublin, OH
- Dublin, OH
-
1
- Latitude: 40.114
- Longitude: -83.1002
- Description: This is a long stretch of 2 lane country road for the most part. But as you are heading Eastbound on Bright Road, you will notice a 25 MPH sign. As soon as you notice this sign, you have already been hit by the radar / laser gun. The officer and cruiser are always obscure, due to being hidden on an access road for the high tension power lines(also a lot of bushes and shrubs to park behind)

If I didn't live in the neighborhood I would get snagged!

Agree! The officer will even drive behind you, wait behind you while you are trying to turn onto Riverside, and then get you as you cross the Emerald Parkway bridge.

One of the reasons it is 25mph is that it is residential and it is a busy area for deer. you can be right upon them crossing the road before you know it, especially at dusk. 25 mph seems reasonable for one's safety.

Good one. My mother, who NEVER speeds, got pulled over here for 40 MPH and couldn't believe the speed limit was that low. He let her go because she's from out of town, her adult kids were laughing at her, and her record is squeeky clean.
