Description: Its always 2 Motorcyle Cops parked across from the McDonalds at an entrance into a neighborhood. They sit there waiting for People to come speeding by (heading from the 215 twds Warm Springs Rd).

  After 40 years without a ticket this trap gave me one. We always travel at the prevailing traffic speed and on this beautiful four lane road we had no idea the limit was 35 when a suitably robotic police officer popped out of a side road and said we were doing 50. In a 'kindly gesture' she reduced it to 40 so it ONLY cost us $167! I asked her why they were targeting this area and she replied "people have died here". I suspect there are other places people have died that are much more deserving of two police cars than a straight, well marked four lane highway. It was also interesting to note that another motorist from out of Nevada as we were, had just been pulled over up ahead by another officer. I will use my influence to get friends and others to avoid Henderson in the future for accomodations, purchases etc.

  Tagged 2 times in 2 years by bike cops, will not be speeding there anymore..it's served its purpose.

  I got a ticket around this area from a cop on a motorcycle.

  This is a good thing, otherwise the vehicles are going 75mph...now at least they get caught..traffic here is unbelievable with all the growth..police do the best they can...

  The cops aren't always there, they cover the area in cycles from once a month to every other week. They also will sit in neighborhood entrances on GV Parkway North of Warm Springs road.
