- Description: Just west of the center of town, by the public works garage, the speed limit dips to 25 mph. The local officer sits there clocking motorists, especially on Friday nights and weekends when tourist traffic comes into town. Beware out-of-state plates - they are especially enforced/ticketed. Don't be surprised if your speed is "inflated."

Agree. The condition of the roads in Blanford is apalling; where's all the money going? I hear the dump sticker cost alone is enough to keep the town financially solvent, but still, it's not.

Heck Blandford needs you unsuspecting tourists to help pay for its schools and other town services. As if they don't tax the town folks enough already. To bad Blandford can't be finacially responsible and not need to rob those passing thru?
