The Speed limit on I-20 is 70 miles an hour however, our officers tolerate 77 MPH-- above that expect a ticket.

Watch out for the troopers.. the black unmarked cars are black Crown Vics with tinted windows.. I know most of them..

I live right off I-20 and travel both east and west from Florence towards Colombia. the average speed that traffic travels is pushing 80 in a 70 MPH zone. Yes there are some traps and there are some unmarked cars that patrol. when I am doing 78 with the flow of traffic and cars are going by me at 85-95 I dont blame the cops for looking out for us. I wish I could say that it doesn't happen often but it does. I love when I see the law has caught them..
