Speed Trap at State Route 1 North, Bear, DE

- Description: The officer will be parked right at the beginning of the on ramp to I-95 North from Rt.1 North. He will be standing outside of his vehicle watching for the agressive and inconsiderate drivers that like to speed up the lane next to the exiting traffic and then cut in at the last moment. As you know there is bumper to bumper traffic approaching this area so this is a big problem. He is giving tickets for this and keeping you there for sometime which will probably make you late for work or whatever. Be Safe And Considerate!

No this is a true statement, They'll bust you, sometimes I've seen them with 3 at a time pulled over, just wait in line like the rest of us it's only an extra 3-4 minutes if you think about it.

I travel through this area into Stanton at about 7:00 am. daily and I have seen an officer there several times a week. However I have not seen him with anyone pulled over, I think that he is just a deterrent to help calm traffic at the merge point.

He exists, but is not there often enough. Also same thing at 202 exit northbound 95

This is very true. I've watched it happen over and over and somedays there are more than one officer and cars to pull people over. If you see a long line of traffic usually, the police are pulling people over. Be wise, don't cut in at the last moment.
