The reason that the speed limit is 35 on Horizon Ridge is because it's a golf cart community. I'm sure you'll agree that a golf cart has little chance if it is hit by a car doing 45 or 50.

This is definitely a fairly well-enforced speed trap... there are several residential side-streets off Horizon Ridge Pkwy where the officers sit and wait - sometimes motorcycle and sometimes automobile. 35 is much too slow for this section of roadway, but justification is no doubt the "golf cart friendly" community of Sun City MacDonald Ranch... must be all those golf carts!
