Description: Motorcycle policeman this strip, possibly because one of their own died in a hit and run near the 5 South onramp. Posted limit is 35, but feels rather slow given the large street and the limited traffic, and that on one side of the street you are paralelling the freeway. I was ticketed, so now I do this one at 35, but see people getting popped constantly.

Someone mentioned Riverside Drive. I got stopped by a motorcycle cop while going South on Riverside at Glendale Blvd. He was 'hidden' at least a 1/2 mile south of me and claimed he clocked me at 54 in a 35. So there was no way I could see him. Another road that it's hard to keep within the limit.

The police officer died on Riverside Drive, not San Fernando Blvd. Riverside Drive also has officers posted at different spots.

Agree. Would drive SF Blvd to get home on a daily basis. If you see somebody pulled over one day, expect the motorcycle police to be in the area for a minimum of 2 weeks. Totally impossible to drive 35 on this stretch of street.
