- Description: I can't believe you Shelby Countians haven't posted this yet! This is awful. This is a Wilton cop, rural area and speed limit goes from 40-55 in about a 2 mile distance. This cop is known for giving speeding tickets for 1 mile over the speed limit. It's borderline harassment.

Not true. The town is only about 1 mile in any direrction. Where it changes to 55 is not in Wilton.(past the post office you are out of Wilton.) This is a 1 mile strectch. Lots of kids. Houses up and down both sides. Tons of huge trucks hauling rocks etc. You can't do 40 for one mile, don't drive. Tickets for 1 mile over? not true. By the way, the Chief that wrote the most tickets has been retired for about 9-10 years, so whatever reputation he had is not true.
