- Latitude: 40.1498
- Longitude: -85.691
- Description: 300 North (Hartman Road) between Madison Avenue and 200 West (Florida Station Road)is patroled at all times of the day, and since the speed limit is set so low (30 mph), county cops have people pulled over ALL THE TIME. I firmly believe this was done purposely to make the county some extra money, so be careful when driving through this area.

This is true! I was pulled over in Dec 2007. It's almost impossible to go 30. You get people riding your bumper or pulling out in front of you. No where around the area is the limit 30. Not even in the next block between Broadway & 109, it's 35!

I agree, I was pulled over there at about 8:30 one morning. The guy was parked in a driveway on the south side of the road. 49 in a 30.

I have never, ever seen a cop on that section of road. and I am usually above 30mph, speeding to a doctor's appt. unless, of course, i'm behind someone crawling along.

This is absoultely the truth. These cops sit in the neighborhood on Hartman and bust people all the time. It's become pretty normal to see lights flashing and a cop sitting with a car pulled over when I leave of a morning at 7 am. Its nothing but a joke. We have 4 mind you 4 county cops to patrol the whole county of Madison County. But yet they have time to sit and bust people on Hartman Road all time.
