- Description: A state trooper will park about 100 yds past the eastbound I-10 Veterans Blvd exit to monitor exit speeds. You go from 60 mph on the I-10 to 30 mph on the exit ramp, with little distance to slow without impeding traffic. The exit is just over the top of an overpass that is located in a turn. When exiting, the trooper is hidden by trees at the exit and, as you pass the trees, he is parked on the left facing you. If you have not slowed immediately upon exit (within the first 50 yds), it is too late when you see him.
