ASH St heading south bound from Garland

Spokane, WashingtonAug 07, 20020 Comments

watch out when you are coming down the hill from Garland Street, almost to cleveland street. the officers sit there in behind the hill and you can’t see them until you are almost right on them. make sure you stay on your brake down the hill. because they nailed me going 42 in a 30.

Most motorists do not realize that the speed limit drops from 70 mph to 60 mph. Motorists travel between 65 and 75 miles per hour. The State Patrol loves this area.

WSP sit in groups on overpasses and tag motorists moving with the traffic speed in groups. Officers will make seatbelt checks in the morning when westbound traffic is very slow. Watch out.

Upriver Drive

Spokane, WashingtonMar 01, 20020 Comments

I see many police cars (sometimes unmarked) right around the dam on Upriver Drive. Although the posted speed limit is 30-35 mph, most people go between 40-45 mph. Watch out!

Sullivan Road

Not too sure but I do know that they are using large Ford trucks and unmarked Chrysler products. Since they use County Sheriff’s cars (fords)Marked and State Patrol (usually ford and some Chevy caprice, unmarked fords and the "MUSTANG)on the same city streets and also the unmarked cars. I was traveling home one evening about 9 PM in a snow storm. Roads were wet but not frozen, I was having trouble keeping my eyes on the road and being able to keep off the curbs since the curbs and streets are difficult to see in this wet situation. Road paint is very worn and almost invisible when wet. I was not watching my speed. He came in behind me and pulled me over doing 47 in a 35. I have driven this road numerous times since then and ALL cars run 45-50 at all times that is except me and I don’t even keep up with the traffic. I drive about 40-45 MPH. Look out!!!! This was $114.00 They patrol the interstates and hide on the exits with runners ahead. Be careful..
