Bad place to go through at any time of day. Go 31 in a 30mph zone through Rosendale, and you are BUSTED! There is a saying about Rosendale that those of us who live out here in the Fox Valley Area know well: "Just the Ticket." It holds true in Rosendale, WI. Believe it. Don’t test it.

Speed limits are reasonable but local police are very aggressive anywhere within the city limits(small town). If stopped you will get a ticket

On the north side of Rosendate. After all reason would tell you that you are in the country, the Town’s 30MPH speed limit still prevails. It is poorly marked and designed to be a real revenue producer.

Always when approaching town. You simply can’t slow down fast enough and they actually gun you at or before the posted speed limit sign.
Just past the stoplight on Highway 26 going to Oshkosh
Going from madison to the green bay game, nov 10th 03 on highway 26, my friend Larry and i both agreed to travel through town 2 miles under the speed limit, knowing what a speed trap that is. when we went by the school on our left, I mentioned to Larry , do you notice there are no speed limits signs in front of the school? the traffic to the game was going so slow up to the stop light because of the amount of cars. we puled into the gas station on the right at the stop light. when we left, larry pulled out onto the sidestreet instead of highway 26, when he went around the corner, he accelerated to 30 mph, (the speed limit). we noticed a cop sitting in a driveway next to a house pointing his radar gun at us. He proceeded to follow us for about a mile. Larry got a ticket for going thru a school zone 30 mph instead of 15 mph. they have a yellow blinking light 20 or so yards past that stoplight. It is absolutely, not noticeable as you make that turn because your looking to your left for oncoming cars. i just h
