Four lane divided highway, straight as an arrow. Looks like a freeway but ain’t–as the trooper told me. Leaving town heading west you can see for 20 miles or more. Highway is excessive for traffic. Looked ahead an saw a trooper pulling over a car approaching, look in mirror and saw a trooper pulling me over. This is a road designed to tempt drivers into freeway speeds with a lower limit. Only good thing is the fine is a relatively minor $85. Had a rental car with Texas plates, probably didn’t help. The car opposite had Montana plates by the way.
