I normally go out of my way to not go through Duluth, but I let my guard down, and snagged me a $220 speeding ticket. Buford Hwy goes from 55 to 50 to 45 and, very quickly in the Duluth city limits, to 35. The Duluth police sit in groups of two to four along the road in the parking lots running next to the railroad tracks. They drive stealthy dark cars, no lights on top and they blend in to the area they are parked. Ticks me off seeing them ticket people not for safety-just for revenue production. Suwanee is just up the road and Buford Hwy runs through it, but the speed limit doesn’t drop below 45.
