Hwy 112 S. Headed toward Cairo
The posted speed limit is 45 as you are leaving town headed South. Just at the city limits sign is a church on the right side of the road. Coming from town there is a big oak tree that almost blocks sight of the parking lot and the local police and state patrol love to sit in that parking lot and shoot radar. Also if you are coming from Cairo on 112 make sure you are at the 45 mph limit when you hit the city limits. They will get you from either way.

I am local to the area and about 8 months ago the City of Camilla began to vigorously enforce the speed laws. (Now Oct. 2012) They have a couple of young officers who are aggressive and generating lots of revenue. However, neither of the two locations are really speed traps in that they do not trick you, however given our rural nature, the casual driver can find themselves going too fast for the posted limits. If it is any consolation, they ticket locals so much that complaints have been filed.
