Hwy 86 through the city

For over a decade now this small town will occasionally add a police officer to the patrol. During those short times the town becomes a major speed trap. This month the office pulled over and cited a vehicle doing 49 in a 45 just as he reached the 55 mph sign heading out of the at the north side.

Comments:
Boy I agree! Several decades ago the town hired a new "Barney Fife" type and lots of people complained. I was a member of one of the local churches and was planning to get married. My fiancé and I stopped at an intersection near the church just long enough for her to write down the street names for wedding directions. As we left I noticed the cop was following us. I made sure not to speed. He followed us all through town. About a mile out of town he flew up behind us and pulled us over. He said it was because we were "casing the joint" and "coming to a complete stop at a stop sign was very suspicious behavior"! He also said it was suspicious that we had a box of Christmas decorations in our back seat. It was early January at the time... Makes me feel bad for the town when these kinds of things happen.
