The Police sit right beside the speed limit sign as you are entering the town and radar and ticket, even if they can see that you are slowing down to comply with the sign. The officer that stopped us admitted that he clocked us in the 55 mph zone, but wrote the ticket as if we had been in the 45 mph zone. Also, he supposedly clocked us at 68 when our GPS showed us to be going 62. Instead of 62 in a 55, we got a 68 in a 45. The local DA said he wouldn’t do anything about it even though he had the officer’s video which would have proved what that he was lying. A local attorney also stated that it was useless to try to fight the ticket because you couldn’t win in that county.
