State Highway 27 near Mile Marker 12
Just got one yesterday by a very unforgiving state patrolman. I was caught after passing an extremely slow minivan. Speed limit is 55 and he was at the bottom of the hill waiting for me while I was going 74. He claimed he didn’t see me passing anyone and that if he had, he wouldn’t have given me a ticket. How convenient, right? When we asked what we should do when passing, the officer said that we shouldn’t pass at all and that we should go 40 if the person is going 40…which def. explains the reason the road has dotted lines that indicate passing. These are the people keeping our highways safe. Didn’t even ask for my proof of insurance, but must be because I was out of state (FL).
