Police tickets are the main source of revenue for the small town of Remerton, so enforcement is very high, borderline ridiculuous. Some will hide behind buildings and such, others just constantly patrol the area. Remerton is not very big, maybe 8 blocks by 8 blocks, but they have about 15 officers, and about 7 or 8 cars. Do the speed limit through Remerton, 35 M.P.H., and try not to get mad if you get pulled over, the police there are extremely rude and have serious attitudes. The city limits of Remerton begin at the railroad tracks just beyond the mall on Baytree Rd, and ends just past Melody Ln/ Jerry Jones Rd. Anyone coming off I-75 looking for Valdosta State Univ. has to pass through Remerton, and the cops Love out of county vehicles and college students.
