When Kashold drive was under repair in 2009 the city chose to keep the artery open with cones and signs and, if I recall, the speed limit was 15 mph. The city issues over 900 tickets on that section of Kashold alone during the road work. The other option of closing the road down completely would have resulted in a quicker completion of work and restoration of road use but would not have been near as profitable for the city. I just avoided this area completely during construction.
