State Route 3 near State Route Rte. 138
Police park on Rte. 3 & 138 in the Hope Valley Fire Department parking lot – across from West Bakery at the blinking yellow light. The spot is particularly attractive because traffic heading east on Rte. 3 are coming down a very steep hill into the village. Speed limit is posted, but brakes need to be applied to keep the car at 25 or below. If you are not aware, it is very easy to speed here.
