Hwy 91 west of town
The speed limit signs reduce fast coming into town and if you aren’t at or below that speed when you reach the sign (no tolerance), you get a ticket. Speed limit in town is a 25 mph crawl and they love the ego trip of giving tickets. This is a great money maker for this town as the tickets are $102 minimum. I get the impression since they have a gun and a badge, they think they are Dick Tracey.

The reduction from 65 mph to 25 mph in such a short length of highway is ridiculous. Speed limits are set to provide safety, but this one is set to write tickets. I stayed around after the comment about me being from Texas and all they seem to do is focus on Texas drivers. What an absolute joke for a town already dying.
I was given a speeding ticket in a school zone when school was not in session. I don't feel this is right. There was a school speed limit sign but I never heard of speed limits being enforced when school is not in session.
