Dublin has a very active policy of "Traffic Calming" (yes that’s what they call it) through they’re village. They have a "your current speed is" radar billboard and especially like to stalk from the dirt roads/turnouts on the nice twisty section around the lake. They do use instant on/battery powered k guns and litterally hop out from behind a bush, lock on and point you in. Very serious about the amount of revenue they generate from speeding tickets.
