Going up or down Dear-Greenbrier Rd. there is a cop sitting either at a church parking lot or any closed business. The speed limit going West is 45mph and you have to go that to get to the top, then at the top of the hill it immediately changes to 35 mph going down the hill. You nearly have to slam on your brakes to not speed. However, during rain, the speed limit at 35mph is necessary, because many people hydra-plane into oncoming traffic.

State Highway Highway 21 near Ron Newton
Coming down the hill headed toward Oxford after you pass Ron Newton Chevrolet a cop is almost always at the foot of the hill. Speed limit going down this hill is 35mph which means you could probably get a ticket if you were driving a little red wagon! This hill is commonly refered to as "Revenue Hill".
State Highway 202 near Quintard Avenue
Going down 202 just before you get to the bridges in front of the county jailhouse, there is almost always an officer on the side of the road facing the oncoming traffic. The speed limit drops from 55 to 45 and he will be on the other side of a small hill about a mile down the road.
Greenbriar – Deer Road near Sleeping Giant Road
On downside of hill on Greenbriar-Dear Rd in direction of Quintard Ave. Speed limit drops from 45 to 35 mph 1/3 – 1/2 way down steep road. Anniston PD usually sits at corner of Sleeping Giant Rd. facing uphill, less than 50 yds from speed limit sign. You almost have to stand on your brakes to keep from getting a ticket.
