Sitting in the lower hotel parking lot across from the library’s A/B Zone parking lots. If you’re heading from Toomer’s Corner the officer will be on the left at the bottom of the hill, and if you’re heading toward Toomer’s they’ll be on your right just after the stop light.

I travel on Wire between Auburn University campus and Shug Jordan Parkway at least twice a day and see police cars hiding all the time.

Shug Jordan Parkway near Wire Road

Anywhere around the "ring road" made up by Shug-Jordan Pkwy and E University Drive is likely to be patrolled regularly. I have been flashed a couple of times, but it was in the pouring rain so I wasn’t stopped. I see someone stopped about once a day or more on average. Most parts the speed limit is reasonable, but 55 is a little unreasonable for the sections where the road in controlled-access and 4 lanes wide. The long curves in this road make it hard to see way ahead. Also, some Auburn cops use laser that won’t activate a detector until they are right on you.

Shelton Mill Road near University Avenue

I’ve been hit twice now by this trap, so look out! Officers will sit in the parking lot of the Church, right before the bridge, where they can hit traffic coming from both directions. Because of the tree line, you can’t see them if you’re heading North towards University, and because of the building, you can’t see them if you’re heading South from University. Speed limit is 35, safe speed probably closer to 45 for that section, and 35 a little further down when it gets to the neighborhood.
