Coming into Dadeville from Jackson’s Gap there is a long straightway Offcifers hide in "plainview" with front and rear radar also just beyond there is a construction zone with a posted limit of 45 m.p.h., going out of town it will change to a large 4 lane for about a mile down hill the residents call this gold hill because of all the tickets that have been written there. Most of the officers are friendly and just doing their job but they cut very few breaks. In addition do not travel with any illegal drugs Dadeville has a full time Narcotics Investigator who frequently rides 280 I’ve seen him several times this week with people stopped searching their cars his is a white unmarked with blue lights you cant see until their already on Im not sure if it has radar other officers drive Chevy Impalas that are marked with low profile lights. Case in point slow down in Dadeville they have a lot of accidents on 280 and the cops think this is a way to prevent them!
