Foley, Alabama Speed Traps
Southbound Lane of Foley Beach Express Behind a Fence
Foley PD and Baldwin County, AL Sheriffs sit routinely monitoring speed halfway hidden behind a tall fence gate on the right side of the Foley Beach Express inside Foley, AL City limits.
Foley Police use white marked Chevy and GMC SUVs with simple blue markings and low (stealth) roof lights. Sometimes I have also observed Alabama State Inspector patrol cars sit in the median of the Foley Beach Express near this area too.
The gate i have mentioned is approximately 1.5 miles South of Highway 98 and the Foley Beach Express. The gate is a farm type large gate that is overgrown with vines and weeds and provides perfect cover for City of Foley and Baldwin County law enforcement. They pick off out of State tourists like clockwork at this location. Be closely aware of the 55 mph limit here.
Northbound Hwy 59, north of Rte 10
White foley police car sits in lot on eastside
of road early mornings.
Downtown Area on Highway 59
The speed limit decreases upon entering downtown section of north Foley. Officers park in the business parking lots so slow down.
