Gadsden, Alabama Speed Traps

Between Glencoe city limits and hwy 278

Going from Gadsden to Centre on Hwy 411.Once you go under Coose River Bridge the city is always there with radar. They stop you from the bridge all the way past Gaston High School. I have had 2 tickets the past 5 years in this area for going 5 miles over limit.The limit Drops from 50 to 45 when the road goes from 4 lane to 2 lane past river bend area.

This is a roadblock favorite for the police!

Although not heavily radared, the 45 MPH speed limit on this road is absurd. There is little directly off this road that has high traffic. People often do 60+ When there is an officer patrolling, there will definatly be someone pulled over. Thankfully when I was pulled over it was a warning for doing 64 in a 45.
