Ladonia, Alabama Speed Traps

Phenix City police sit at the bottom of US Hwy 80 coming from Ladonia AL into Phenix City, AL right before the Spectrum on Auburn Road. You go up a hill having to gain speed, then down a long hill before you get to spectrum and you gain speed while going downhill. The police love to hide in a driveway at the bottom of this hill on the right to solicit speeding tickets at this location. The speed limit goes from 45 at the top of the hill to 35 before you get to the bottom of the hill. I recieved a ticket doing 40 at 5am in the morning heading to work. The judge dismissed my ticket due to the rate of speed that I was accused of but I have since recieved another ticket in the same location for 45 mph in the 35. Please be aware of this location!
