Ozark, Alabama Speed Traps
Andrews avenue coming out of ft. Rucker to town
once exiting ft. Rucker into Ozark the speed is 45mph on a two lane highway. any other road I’ve driven on that is similar is 50mph and greater. so you are already at a psychological disadvantage. then as you are getting closer to town the speed drops to 35mph. right when it drops there is a police officer monitoring your speed 9 times out of 10. They cut no breaks and quickly write you a citation. it is in my opinion Ozark Alabama’s speed trap. choose another route.
north union ave
just as u cross the bridge going to town ore leaving watch out. speed will drop from 35 to 25 alwase a cop thire. even on sunday to catch ppl comming from church it sad
Will Logan Road
Unmarked dark blue Chevy Blazer, full sized silver Chevy P/U and white Ford 4-door being utilized.
Will Logan Road
This was formerly a county road, before being annexed for city property taxes. Routinely patrolled by police assets that could better be utilized on Hwy 231. Obviously, a greater revenue producer!
on highway 27
well there is couple of spots one…just about two miles from turning off 231 onto 27 the state trooppers and dale county sherriff like put uproad blocks just before u get to the bridge…the other i noticed the other day i seen a state trooper tried to hide behind some bushes also right before the bridges….so be careful and dont underestimate their sneakiness
