Pelham, Alabama Speed Traps

I was driving late-night (2am) on I-65 N when I was ticketed for speeding just before the exit for 459, where the speed limit is still 70 but a mile or two down the road it reduces to 60. Though I was speeding (and I suppose a rightful ticket), the main reason they gave me was that I would be doing 10+mph over the limit ahead if I kept up my current speed. Slow down and look for these guys on the sides of the road when approaching Hoover when leaving Pelham.

Usually one, possibly two, patrol cars in open field across from school. If you are traveling towards Oak Mountain State Park, you cannot see them until you are around the curve and it is too late.

Goes from 35 mph speed limit to 45 mph further down State Park Road. Better wait until the mph changes before you do!
