Highway 90 At State Line Convenience Store Near AL/FL Line

Seminole, AlabamaMay 14, 20180 Comments

Baldwin County, AL Sheriffs Deputies (BCSD) in marked gold/brown SUVs and patrol cars routinely park and sit on either side of Highway 90 near Seminole, AL (the town located closest to the Alabama/Florida border) when bored or on break.

There is a tall hill approaching Seminole westbound direction immediately after crossing the Styx River bridge on Hwy 90 where trucks and trailers need to pick up speed to enter Seminole. BCSD love to frequent this area. They also hang out near the ‘State Line’ convenience store (the only gas station for miles) and the Dollar General store.

Highway 90 is 55mph through Seminole. Don’t exceed here until well out of the town area.

Bonus Tip: many inebriated river dwellers and old clueless people locals in rusted out junk heaps LOVE to pull out in front of you off the side streets for cheap beer and cig runs to Dollar General when you are going 55 mph. BEWARE of them along with the stalking Baldwin County Deputies!
