Skyline, Alabama Speed Traps

Since so many have made it known that he sits at the beauty shop just north of the crest coming up the mtn. (West side), he has moved to sit in front of the closed garage about 100-150 feet North, same side. For a small community there are SEVERAL vehicles that may be used, many unmarked, including a pickup truck. And YES, the cop thinks he’s the ‘stuff’. During before and after school hours he sits on County Road 25 just down the road from the school. He also likes to set up road blocks at County Roads 107 and 25 doing ‘checks’ because 107 there has no other entrances or exits. He brags about how many he has arrested or impounded vehicles. The court here also is all about the money. Even if they drop the charges they NEVER drop the fine!!!!

The skyline cop and his rent-a-cop buddy can usually be found sitting across from the volunteer fire dept on Hwy 79 hiding behind the 18-wheeler trailers park at old store. They sit here at all hours of the day and night. The wanna-be cop has an attitude as well.

Cop uses an unmarked car on County Road 17 and Hwy 79. This is definitely a speedtrap town. Cop has an attitude too.

Town officer regularly sits in the lot of a closed store front right at the top of the mountain.
