This whole road is full of traps it’s about the only place in Trussville that the speed limit is 25 and not thirty which is rediculas to begin with also have been told by numerous cops that it’s the people in the area complaining all the time that cause the cops to stay there and you can actually coast from the top of a few of the hills faster than the speed limit. The cops hide everywhere have had three tickets in over a year there for only five over the limit.

Speed limit goes from 55 to 50 to 40 to 30 accross I59 both ways! Back to 50 just accross the bridge. Trussville police hide just around the bend" on Sunday PM to catch shoppers coming into their area to spend money in Trussville. Trussville has not produced a traffic study to support their speed trap revenue producer. But the officer will mark the speed down from 55 to 54 as a favor so you will not have to appear in court. Just pay Trussville’s $133 speeding fine. I am taking my shopping $$$ else where. Write your state reps and ask for a Alabama law requireing 75% of all fines be transfered to the state education budget."

Trussville police HAS been seen on interstate before. May or may not be operating in the future. If ticketed you might want to talk to an attorney about the following Code of Alabama – Title 32: Motor Vehicles And Traffic – Section 32-5A-171. A judge HAS ruled over Trussville and the previously stated code, but I do not know of any other judgments in the past 3 months. I am not an attorney and the decision is yours. My last comments were deleted without explanation and no e-mail contact to know why. I hope this is acceptable message to help the public.

Please note that under Title 32 under Alabama traffic law, cities under 19,000 do not have a legal right to enforce traffic law on the interstates. A judge already ruled specifically against Trussville. But, 2 weeks ago I saw one on 59 in total disregard to the law and the judge laid up for traffic enforcement in the median. It is in black and white, cities under 19,000 has no legal right to enforce traffic laws on the interstate. No what you are told by police, city hall, or a dishonest lawyer, do not accept a guilty verdict on traffic laws enforced by Trussville on the interstate. Appeal if needed and no plea bargins. It is in black and white.
