Vestavia Hills, Alabama Speed Traps

Complaints by residents of speeding on a thruway led to establishment of the trap. Patrolmen stationed at intersection enforce a 25mph speed limit. Similar speeding elsewhere in other residential areas does not get this level of attention.

Officers, car and motorcycle, sit atop the Brookwood Hill watching for cars that are driving over the speed limit up the hill, odd, as opposed to down the hill when many people are traveling much faster, but sit right under the Vestavia Hills Temple.

There is an officer that backs up in the driveway across from the small church halfway up columbiana and he has NO remorse. I got pulled over and ticketed for doing the speed limit. You will also see squad cars pull into berry middle school during evening and night hours and back up to where you cant see him but he can see you. BEWARE!

Motorcycle cop backs into apartment complex entrance to where you cant see him but he sees you. Use extreme caution.
