Beaver Dam, Arizona Speed Traps
Route 91 East bound leaving the freeway.
Posted speed is 35 mile mph. They catch you on the down hills. The road is very wide with a good wide shoulder most of the way. It does not feel like a 35 mph zone. They indicated that I almost hit 50 mph. The fine was for a full 50 mph. Stay away from this town if you can.
Old 91 Between Beaver Dam and Mesquite
Speed is 45 dropping to 35 for nine miles, Sheriff vehicles will stop any vehicle over the posted speed limit and ticket them. This is a very winding and rolling drive, very difficult to maintain speed.
State Route Old 91 near Beaver Dam store
Sheriff parks back in trailer park area or around bend coming into the store area. All these locations are at the bottom of a steep hill. Speed goes from 35 mph to 25 mph.
Interstate 15 near Mile Marker 0-30
When entering Arizona from either the Utah or Nevada side, there are a lot of AHP between mile marker 0 and 30 at the Utah state line. The Virgin River Gorge is used by a lot of wannabe "race care drivers", and can be extremely dangerous anytime! With high bank curves and slow trucks, I have given 3 times to the state of Arizona!
