State Highway 70 near Foster Lane

On highway 70 between Franklin and Duncan the speed limit goes from 65 to 45 going toward Duncan and 45 to 65 going towards Franklin. Many people have been stopped and given tickets. The hard thing about it is that the area that is now 45 mph used to be 55 mph. All the people that have lived here in this area for years out of habit speed up right after crossing the railroad tracks. I find it disturbing that the cops in this area take advantage of this. I have followed cops that do the exact same thing and they are not getting stopped and ticketed.

US Highway 70 near Mile Marker 368.5

Arizona State Police hides well off the road behind an embankment and can’t be seen when traveling eastbound. Police unit can see approaching westbound traffic for about 1/2 mile well before you notice the parked unit. Shoots K and Ka-band from behind at east bounders and head-on at west bounders. Open highway, nice scenery, sparse traffic – too easy to speed. PSL is 65 Good backroad to Phoenix from east
