Cops sit at the bottom of Guadalupe Rd. going over the I 10 is 25. The speed limit sign is hard to see. I missed it for 2 years

Approaching Guadalupe from the south on Priest Road

Very few street lights leave the road almost completely dark. They like to wait in parking lots with their lights off and watch hapless drivers miss stop signs and reduced speed limits that are hard to notice at night.

Guadalupe Road near Priest Road

Be careful going through Guadalupe. Priest Rd. suddenly becomes Guadalupe Rd. as it enters the village, and the speed limit drops to 25 instantly. Though the police don’t set up speed traps here (they can’t afford to, very few officers here), they do patrol occasionally, and if you happen to be going 29, oh well, too bad for you.
