Mesa, Arizona Speed Traps

Several times, I’ve seen an AZ State Trooper hiding under this overpass fishing for people going westbound. This particular overpass is built in such a way that the cop can hide behind the pylons and be invisible until you pass them.

There is always a motorcycle cop patrolling the area waiting to catch speeding drivers

There is a white speed enforcement van on the north bound side of the road

Motorcycle officers sit in the entrance of Queen of Heaven Cementary and pick off west bound traffic. They are seen there regularly since fall of 2010.

It’s a busy 6 lane street and there’s only a sign on the right side and no indication in the median. Late morning and early afternoon it makes no sense to be a school zone.
