Prescott Valley, Arizona Speed Traps

DPS and YCSO are all over Hwy 69. For good reason as there are many injury accidents on this stretch. Divided, four-lane highway, speed limit 65 except in Mayer (50), Dewey (55), and PV (45). One of the better areas is late-night: DPS will sit in Humboldt Chevron station after they close (early: like 9 or 10pm), lights out. Will wait till NB traffic (towards Prescott) is right on him before turning on radar, SB traffic is blocked by a hill till its too late. Have personally witnessed more than one accident (most caused by people turning onto hwy from side roads that misjudge hwy speed), so the more cops on this road, the better. Not sure about the aircraft (just saw a story in the paper), but I do know that I have seen Rangers patrolling I-17.
