There is a 4 way stop at the corner of Waddell and Cotton Ln. There are no street lights at this intersection, only lights from a nearby automotive dealership. Late at night/early a.m. police cruisers sit in the dark and check the speed of oncoming vehicles approaching this intersection. On Waddell Rd the speed limit is 35 mph approaching this intersection and on Cotton Ln the speed limit drops from 50 mph to 45 mph about 100 yards before the intersection. You can count on their presence on weekends (Friday/Saturday night/morning) and holidays.

They have set up a portable speed detector on the west side of SFL just North of Central Ave in the Surprise Farms Subdivision. It snaps your picture day or night! Dont know how long it will be there since it is portable…. BEWARE!

Speed limit slows to 25 mph on a little sign on a traffic horse. Lane narrows for construction ahead 1/2 mile. Motorcycle cop in between the horses with radar gun. You won’t see him until it’s too late.

As soon as you pass over the bridge(303) heading north behind the wall on the right/east side, a cruiser is sitting there completly out of view until you pass. check your rearview mirror usually in the morning
