Wickenburg, Arizona Speed Traps
On Tegner just south of the hospital. New speed camera.
Used to be 25. Now reduced to 20 and a speed camera has been installed.
South bound lane ( new overpass) US 93 Wickenburg
US 93. Roadwork completed outside of Wickenburg. (The police refer to new section this as the “overpass). It just looks exactly like the rest of the 65 MPH expressway that proceeds it, except that it is newly paved and is 45 MPH. It is a straight stretch of highway that one would think wasn’t part of the 65 MPH freeway. It’s not well marked & there is no noticeable residential area. This is apparently the new hotspot for the Wickenburg police & is clearly a speed trap. I was ticketed there & afterwards was told by friends that they have seen the police frequenting this area. Beware, beware, beware!!!
Rt 60/89/93
Coming and going thru the town on major routes, the local police are continuously driving with their radar on watching on coming traffic. I live here and use the roads at least once a day and I will find an officer running his radar every time I go out. BTW, I have a great Beltronics radar detector and it is awesome!

Local authorities take their law enforcement seriously (just a word to the wise).
