Speed limit in this area is a reasonable 75mph, however, if you feel the need to go faster you should be attentive in the Winslow area as DPS may be on overpasses and in the median. I have also seen Winslow PD parked in the median.

Highway 87, just south of town, at Washington St.

Speed limit signs intentionally set up to "trap" people and prey upon people with out of state license plates rather than to maximize safety. Officer "exaggerated" my speed by at least ten miles per hour, and attempted to intimidate me by saying that he could arrest me and confiscate my vehicle for the offense. Amount of fine is truly outrageous- $105.00 for 45MPH (which was really only 35MPH at most)in a 25 MPH zone.

Sits in middle of the road between two hills. Can’t see him till you are within 60-80 Yards of the trap.

Cop sits in middle, always there, catches speeders from both directions, highly enforced, cuts no slack to anyone
