Yuma, Arizona Speed Traps

The highway patrol is often hanging out on I-8 under the Pacific Ave. overpass

About 2 miles east of Yuma the limit drops from 65 to 55.Have observed the State Patrol over the last 2 years positioned in the unpaved median about a mile before the first Yuma exit.
Be prepared for a Patrol car to come screaming out of the median notwithstanding oncoming traffic.

Motorcycle Cops love 16 street at all hours of the morning, day and night. High enforcement. Speed limit is only 35mph. Either going up or down the hill, beware of motorcycle cops working in pairs, to "tag team" you for speeding.
