State Highway 175 near State Highway 62-412

Cherokee Village, ArkansasMay 30, 20040 Comments

This is a state highway that runs through the newly incorporated city of Cherokee Village. The speed limit is a very low 45 miles per hour with few posted signs. Approximately a two mile stretch of this highway turns into a 30 mile per hour zone, with one posted speed limit sign at each end of this zone. The police continuously harrass people that drive through on this highway due to a private club that is located there thinking that everyone has been drinking. For people that work the late shift and are returning home from work that do not need to be followed and harrassed because according to the local police anyone out after midnight are criminals. This is a town of approximately 4000 residents most of which are retirees.
