Weddington Road near Prominance Baptist Church
The Police sit in Providence Baptist Church Driveway and Traffic coming East or West is targeted. The speed limit changes very abruptly with no warning from 55 to 40. Both directions are coming around a bend and slope. My son got a ticket at 10:30 A.M. He has just moved here and I failed to tell him about this speed trap.
Stadium Drive near Maple Street
University cops sit by Razorback Stadium and radar drivers passing by. The speed limit is 25 miles per hour… you have to ride your brakes. They don’t show any mercy at all!
Sixth Street near Government Street
When driving east on Sixth St. right before you get to Gov’t St there is a steep hill which you have to brake because the speed limit is 35. When going down this hill it is difficult to maintain this speed without ruining your brakes. The officer parks their vehicle right behind a corner building at the intersection of Gov’t St and Sixth St just before you get to the bottom of the hill. They will get you so be careful.
